The Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 enacted powers to create Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs). The purpose of a PSPO is to stop individuals or groups committing anti-social behaviour in a public space. They are designed to ensure the law-abiding majority can use and enjoy public spaces, without having to experience anti-social behaviour.
