Award of contract for the management and operation of markets in Allerdale

At a meeting of the Executive on the 10 September 2014 Members chose not to procure a Markets Operator to manage and operate markets on behalf of the Council under a new 5 year contract.

As per Members recommendations an options appraisal of available procurement processes has been carried out.

As approved by the Corporate Director and Portfolio Holder for Economic Growth, a new procurement exercise is being undertaken to appoint a Markets Operator to manage and operate markets on behalf of the Council under a new 5 year contract.
